In the field of aircraft maintenance, the system with easy operation, efficient query speed andlow expense will possess vitality.Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) is a kind ofstructured, interactive and intelligent data carrier of equipment technology, the promotion andapplication of IETM is a necessary requirement of the information construction of our aviationequipment support.From the aspect of aircraft maintenance, this article applies the IETM technologyto aircraft maintenance activities according to the Job Card usage and characteristics, aiming atsolving the maintenance manual digitization problems. This program focuses on handling Job Cardtechnical manual digitization and integrates the project and production processes together through theportable terminal, thus providing real-time Job Card manual interactive check, scanning, updating andrecord for engineers on the task and shorten the maintenance time on the spot. This paper introducesthe general framework and development procedure. And XML is utilized to create application systemcorresponding to GJB6600standard, as well as Object-oriented programming and LINQ databasetechnology. The main work is as follows:(1) Basic theory research and key technical analysis on IETM. This paper discusses the corespecification of IETM, that is data module (DM) and common source data base (CSDB), and the bestway for XML storage and analysis, database synchronization.(2) Requirement analysis. The system is based on C/S structure. It expresses UML diagrams infeature model and dynamic model.(3) Integrated IETM development platform’s software realization.On.NET platform, IETMsystem with the ability of edition, management and distribution is designed.(4) Deploy the reading PMA system on the portable terminal. The WES7operating system isbuilt on the Pad and IETM reading software system is well designed.As interactive electronic Job Card system contains key maintenance information, it has thefunction of customized search, navigation, displaying style and the traceability management ofmaintenance activities, thus providing highly effective technical support for aeronautical engineers.The successful development and application of the system can not only reduce the staff’s laborintensity, but also greatly improve the aircraft maintenance digital level.
