For some time it has been 'trendy' to use a PC as the heart of a machine control system, from a cursory look it would seem the obvious way to go for many if not all applications. Motion control system based on'PC + motion control card'mode takes full advantage of the aspect of: system replaced or upgraded; networking capability; Great flexibility due to availability to a large variety of plug in cards; Customized Human Machine Interface.The main objective of the study of Open Motion Control System is to solve the contradictory of frequent changes in the demand between single and fixed order of traditional control system specificity. So that to establish a unified reconfiguration system platform, to greatly enhance system flexibility and adaptability. The development of Open Motion Control System has the characters of integrated platforms, end-user-oriented, change increase or prune object structure, forming series. And it makes easy to integrate the customer's special application and technical to the systems, to fast form different varieties and grades of open CNC system.This thesis brings forward a suit of agility and robust application based on lucubrating to the theme of'PC + motion control card'mode. The system adopts the structure of'NC embed PC', adopts 4-axis motion control card based on PCI bus to realize real-time control. The structure of the net motion control system is C/S, which is accomplished on the basis of Winsock by VC++6.0. The system has realized the function of position founding nicely, 3-axis linkage motion, and communicating over Ethernet. Also the system takes good expansibility and be propitious to function amend and rework.
