Research And Implementation Of Enterprise Information Network Administration Based On SNMP

The network administrator has the responsibility of managing the whole company's network administration. Once there is something wrong with the network, the server, or any other devices of the company, it is the network administrator who has to find out the problems and solve them.Good network administration software is not only helpful but also necessary in network management. In order to insure the steady, reliable and safe performance of the whole electric power system, YANTAI Eletric Power Corporation of SGCC needs to build a centralized network administration performing platform which can be easily managed, easily extended, and deeply developed. And the design principle of reliability, usability, maintainability and expandability must be followed.The research of this paper focuses on the security features of SNMPv3. Firstly, the features and functions of electric power system network administration are discussed in the paper. The SNMP is deeply studied and the advantages and disadvantages of different versions are also analyzed. In the section of system design and implementation, on the basis of the analysis of the network administration software's functions and the company's own condition, it is presented that the dynamic detecting approach instead of the simple ARP binding can be used to solve the problem of ARP deceive so as to reduce the impact on the network's performance. Then the method of capital management by desktop administration software is proposed after comparing WMI with the desktop administration software. Finally, the network administration platform is established to integrate the network data. The development trend of network administration in the future is discussed, and some methods and advices about intellectualized network administration are proposed as well.
