| In the background of the business analysis system in PetroChina North China Marketing Filiale, at first, three factors were analyzed and researched as below: 1. the problems in the original business analysis system, including slow inquiry speed, inquiry statistics without using multiple perspectives and so on; 2. the new business requirement about the customer creditworthiness; 3. decision-making support technique, including Data Warehouse, OLAP and Data Mining.Secondly, proposed the idea of establishing Decision Support System based on Data Warehouse, made detailed requirement specification about the customer sales. According to the report, the paper accomplished the design and implementation of Data Warehouse with the theme of customer sales.Furthermore, on the basis of Data Warehouse, some issues were analyzed by utilizing the OLAP technology, which were the trend of oil price, the time sequence of oil sales'quantity, the region distribution of the oil sales and so on, the results were demonstrated by three different methods; the customer creditworthiness was analyzed by utilizing decision tree algorithms and the results were visually shown by using charts and tables.Finally, the preliminary performance of the system indicated that the system met the requirement of the users and realized the statistical analysis about the information of the customer sales in multiple perspectives, could accurately predict the customer creditworthiness. The system was qualified to assist the company in making decisions in the stock management and the customer policy. |
