| Digitallization is a worldwide industrial technology innovation,and digital technology has been touching most fields of our social lives.From 90's of 20th century,the technology of digital television,as one of important branches of digital technology,develops fast end enters an applied phase,with the rapid progress of the technology of semiconductor and computer.DTV(Digital TV) is in a period of rapid development in the world.There are abuout 400 millon of analog TV sets in china,therefore it is a good choice to use existing analog TV sets equipped with STB(Set Top Box) during the transition.Under this background,it is very meaningful to research on STB of DTV.In this issue,we selected ST's QAMi5516 system solutions,designed and implemented STB of DTV in line with the MPEG-2 and DVB-C standard.For the completion of the design of digital TV set-top boxes,the papers from the following aspects have been studied:First,it introduced a digital TV set-top box associated with the two main standards - MPEG-2 and DVB.Analysis of the MPEG-2 standard part of the system, focusing on analysis of MPEG-2 streams in TS format and double-packaged reusable process;Analysis of SI information in DVB standards related to electronic program guides(EPG).Second,introducing video decoder chip QAMi5516 of ST,including internal resources and external interfaces of the functions,structure introduced and based on QAMi5516 given hardware design.Third,introduced a set-top box software system architecture,as well as the entire system in software in the role and the relationship betweenFourth,details of set-top box EPG Software Design and Implementation of the process,EPG is an important indicator of digital TV,which provides users with an easy-to-use,friendly interface,quick way of looking through program.Fifth,we introduced the principle and components of conditional access systems, a module-based approach to the transplantation division of CA,in order to achieve code reuse rate,speed up the development of speed. |
