Along with the development of computer technology, the application of virtual technology exceed abroad. It is a kind of emulation applied environment for carrying out the training of stratagem, battle and tactics. The computer emulational technic is used to make dummy natural environment of campaign area. On the basis of the time and space being assured to be consistency, the emulational system of military affairs, the simulating training system of arm equipment, and the actual arm flat roof that are distributed in different zones are connected to this emulational environment through the computer net.Virtual battlefield is representative application of virtual reality technology on the military fields and development direction of modern military science.Battlefield scene simulation uses Visual Reality, Computer Simulation technologies to process and simulate various kinds of information about battlefield, so that it can display as the real battlefield.In this paper, the field condition emulation disposal and the course simulating demonstration of constructing missile that beats corresponding aim are studied. The Virtual Reality that is applied in the battlefield modeling and simulation is deeply discussed and some relative simulating systems are founded.Described the foundational theory. Profoundly researched the modeling software of Creator. Learned the skills about how to use these two soft wares.Then used them to design the battlefield scene simulation libraries of themodels.Introduced the elements and the API functions library of the development tool, Vega. Then used it to build the simulation system of this paper by mastering the modules of this software.Designed and implemented a battlefield scene simulation system ran at the PC platform. The system contains two work states, distributed and local state, and it can simulate three different environments and the process of the missile attacking the targets, included the voice and special effects information. The program displays fluently, and is easy to control by users in real-time.
