With the demands of communication increasing and numbers of base stations growing, the electronic equipment can work normally at proper temperature in the guardless base stations, so there are 1~2 air conditionings to keep temperature. Because there is no intelligent energy-saving equipment, the air conditionings must work all days whether winter or low temperature, then a large number of energy is wasted, and the air conditioning power consumption accounts for 60% of the base station power consumption.The workers configure the temperature with experience,and there is no data records, time-consuming and laborious,hard work;when there is something wrong with equipment, we can not make the judgement and decision timely and accurately because of no monitoring system.It has greatly practical significance in controling air conditioning and monitoring environment.Through the theory and practice in base station energy-saving field, the very important thing is how to reduce the air conditioning power consumption. Air-cool theory: it uses cold air outside to replace air conditioning for cooling. control system identifies and judges the temperature and humidity environment inside and outside in the base stations. According to judgement, it controls the air conditionings and air blowers to start and stop, then we can reach the energy-saving.This theory is the new energy-saving theory for the base stations.The collection and control energy-saving terminal, GPRS modules, data acquisition server, database server and Web site server make up the energy-saving monitoring system. The collection and control energy-saving terminal can collect data, analyse, control and display. It sends the packaged data through the GPRS module to the data acquisition server by the set method. Data acquisition server is responsible for communications, storage and real-time display.Web site server generates the dynamic pages for workers of Monitoring Control Center to control, query, access, storage and printing and so on through Internet.This project uses C, C++, T-SQL, AT, JAVA languages, and it uses sensors, multi-core embedded, mobile communication, server , internet and a number of advanced technologies. It realizes multi-point, remote, real-time data of precision measurement, transmission and treatment.System uses the current mainstream development platform and data exchange, and it is rational structure, a significant energy-saving effect, reliability, easy maintenance, high performance cost ratio and so on, so it can be satisfied for actual demand for communication companies.By actual tests show that the system stability, data exchange high efficiency, fast response. After the completion of system development, it can improve the mobile company's management level and lower costs, greatly improve their competitiveness and thus generate considerable economic benefits.
