Research And Application Of Workflow Technology Based On PDM

With the widely use of computer technology,network technology and e-commerce technology,Competition among enterprises gradually shows some new features as rapidness,flexibility,automation and globalization.To gain the victory in the competition,enterprises must start from inside,shorten the time of the process, respond to the market and customers quickly,monitor the progress of the work effectively,improve the efficiency of the internal communication and transmission, analyze the cost of the process and dead-end,reduce the unnecessary supplies of job, thereby reduce the cost of management effectively,enhance the reaction ability of enterprises on making decisions.So,making the manual process informational and automatic,which has been the key of the companies to the future of rise or fall,and the technology to realize the automation of the process—workflow technology,has been one of the most popular technologies for a large number of enterprises and software vendors.As the course of business in the office becomes more complicated and the process of management becomes better,only defining the process of business can't able to meet the actual needs,more and more processes of workflow are no longer static,they often needs to have some modifications during the process of running to respond to the change of the demands quickly.This paper analyzed and summarized the researches on the dynamic workflow home and abroad,took information building of an institute as background,put enhancing the flexibility of workflow management system as starting point,first by analyzing the dynamic characters of workflow model based on the current workflow models,it studied the dynamic workflow which is based on role deeply.Then it analyzed the dynamic modeling technology based on role,making dynamic workflow technology to enhance the adaptability of work flow.Dynamic workflow will make office automation system more flexible,expansibility and timely reaction of demand change.Finally an application was shown which is a dynamic approval process based on role.By expounding the workflow technology clearly,this paper analyzed the current condition and shortcomings during the development of workflow technology, delineated the scope of problem domain for their own research work,defined a workflow model supporting dynamic modification,gave a realized method using an object-oriented technology by this model,discussed the modification strategies and methods of the workflow model in detail.It was pointed out that it's easier to describe the dynamic characteristics of workflow by using role,which provides a great help to study the dynamic workflow.At the same time,the application which was studied in this thesis will give a whole example about how to design and construct the dynamic workflow management system based on role,it's helpful to improve the business process automation and the ability to work together.
