In the age of economic globalization and competition, the new product development efficiency is already the key factor of getting victory for an enterprise in the market. The yacht cabin arrangement design is one of important contents of the yacht designs, its design quality has directly affected the efficiency of the entire yacht designs. The traditional yacht cabin design process usually uses the traditional manual AutoCAD cartography method, once the design needs to revise, it can consume the massive manpower physical resource, and causes the yacht cabin design process fussy, and this has affected the product development efficiency seriously. But the parametric CAD is now the hot in the field of contemporary design, which is the good way to solution this question.This paper firstly outlined the characteristic of yacht and the cabin arrangement, then studies the yacht cabin arrangement optimization question, the yacht cabin arrangement question is a NP-hard question, which is the most difficult question to solve in the typical optimization problem. This paper uses the improvement genetic algorithm NSGA-â…¡to solve this question, obtains a series of most superior scheme of arrangement. Lastly we discuss the yacht cabin parametric arrangement programming, the parametric technology is been applied to CAD system, and widely enhance the design capacity.The full paper altogether divides into seven chapters: First chapter is the introduction, this chapter's primary coverage briefed the yacht industry development condition, the layout question and the parametric research present situation as well as the paper research content, the technical route. Second chapter has outlined the yacht classification and the arrangement characteristic, and has carried on the analysis to the yacht cabin arrangement basic essential factor. Third chapter introduce the layout question research and mathematics modeling. All of the requests, conditions and optimized goal of yacht cabin layout design are analyzed, and a mathematic model is built. Fourth chapter introduce the application of improvement genetic algorithm in the yacht cabin layout. As one of biological modeling algorithms and heuristic optimized questions, the genetic algorithm was already widespread apply in each kind of optimized solution question. The paper analyzed the multi-objective optimization question, and proposed a kind of improvement genetic algorithm which is NSGA-â…¡, to solve the yacht cabin arrangement optimization question. The Fifth chapter mainly introduced the parametric technology's basic concept and the principle, the AutoCAD secondary development technologies. The Sixth chapter introduces the yacht cabin parametric arrangement design procedure design process, this chapter mainly introduces the procedure design flow, the interface design of the procedure, and has demonstrated the procedure operating process with the example. The last chapter is the conclusion and forecast, the summary of the article is made up, the expectation study of further study of this research is listed and the problems of this research that need to be studied deeply are also listed.This article develops an AutoCAD yacht cabin parametric arrangement procedure by using of the techniques of secondary development of AutoCAD, parametric design and Data base management. This procedure takes Visual Basic 6.0 as visual development environment, unifies the Access2003 data base technology, takes the AutoCAD as the secondary development platform.Through this procedure, user can design yacht cabin arrangement using the man-machine dialog window, who can directly call the accommodation equipment module witch have been constructed in the procedure. The cabin plan may be realized which only need the size restraint and the location parameter.
