| How to create a personalized virtual three-dimensional mannequin is one of major research on EMTM(Electronic Made to Measure).The three-dimensional mannequin can be used for body measure,figure analysis,style choice,clothing design,clothing order and clothing production etc in place of the real human body.Based on research projects of the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission, "China-EU cooperation in EMTM Key Technologies"(045107026) for the research background,the paper's goal is to create and achieve a fast, efficient and accurate mechanism for three-dimensional mannequin modeling of the human body.A new three-dimensional mannequin modeling,which is based on a sample database,is projected in this paper.Also some research in all aspects for EMTM is also done in it.The new three-dimensional mannequin modeling can be include:firstly,the whole body is divided into six "barrels" of the parts,and then every part is described by several featured sections,and each section with a few parameters to describe the characteristics to the whole human body as a whole Modeling parameters; in a large number of three-dimensional model of the human body scanning data pre-processing and extraction parameters,the representatives is selected by us to build an sample database;according to the customer's size parameters from different sources,the system picks up an sample body,which is the most closest for shape throughout the sample database; after some adjust to feature sections on every part of the selected sample according to the actual customer's size,we apply surface interpolation method to generate new human body parts;Finally,after the assembly of the six newly-built components,the last full three-dimensional mannequin is created.In this paper,the new three-dimensional mannequin modeling can quickly create three-dimensional mannequin.It aimed to be used in EMTM without using the three-dimensional scanning,which costs lot. And we hope the research work for the future of our country EMTM research and extension will play a positive role in exploration. |
