| In recent years, people pay more and more attention to the security systems while the elevation of their living standards and the enhanced awareness of security, video surveillance is widely applied to all walks of life. The combination of remote data acquisition, remote monitoring, and other functions in one of the embedded digital video surveillance system is to become video surveillance's major development directions. Research on such a video surveillance system is an important realistic significance and economic value.Embedded technology is an integration of computer technology, semiconductor technology , microelectronics technology and other advanced technology, has to reach all areas and been widely used. This article based on the characteristics of the digital video surveillance, used the embedded operating system as a platform, raised the overall design plan. The core microprocessor selected the S3C2410 chip of Samsung Corporation, which is an ARM9-based high-performance microprocessors. This system used the USB camera for data collection, and then through the image data transmission network, to achieve the purposes of remote monitoring.This article focuses on the hardware platform design and implementation of the specific design requirements. The hardware system is divided into several specific functional modules, each one has his own role. This article also detailed descript the concrete realization of each module. There have a brief description of the hardware circuit and the PCB design specifications. All hardware design process will follow the relevant design specifications. Finally, this paper concluded the structure and performance of this system, proposed advices on how to improve and perfect this system. |
