Design And Implement Of SOA-Based Insurance Automated Form Processing System

ACORD forms and message,as two important parts of Association for the Cooperative Operations Research and Development(ACORD) standard,the use is universal in the insurance industry.However,ACORD forms are static,at the same time the relationship of ACORD forms and ACORD message is relatively independent,there is no direct mapping between them,that makes it impossible for tranforming submited application forms by customers to ACORD message for relevant bussiness processing.The project which is relevant with this paper,using professional ideas and development process of software engineering,utilizing good supports which are provided to ACORD Forms and ACORD message by IBM Lotus Form and WBSF,apply ACORD forms to the SOA enviroment.Through based on existing WBSF insurance content pack,and developing a set of services by SCA framwork which can receive submited ACORD forms data model and transform data model to ACORD message,it implemented mapping and integration between ACORD forms and ACORD message specification, provied a SOA solution from the Front-end forms to the backend business services.At the same time,the project relevant to this paper supports editing ACORD forms both online and offline style,provide two channels for submitting ACORD form to the backend service.The project which is relevant with this paper has already deloyed on NAVA annuity bussiness system which uses ACORD standards,and got good reputes from insurance industry,ACORD has already deccided to transform all of ACORD forms to ACORD message,that will eliminate the gap between business systems of different insurance companies,and make cooperation and integration easier.
