| Recently, with the development and popularization of computer technology, especially network technology and database, it's more necessary for us to store, manage, share and pick up information effectively. The development of reliable, stable and secure database system, has been a new era of one of the important issues of this new age.This thesis mainly introduces some related conceptions and theories, and also the design and usage situation of database system at home and abroad. Next, it takes the Post at the provincial level for the study of transport enterprises and it will take "the production and technical equipment of information system in transport management of Post -Transport Bureau of Sichuan Province " as an example to study and design the database system of PTMIS (Post Transportation Management Information System) . In this way, this paper identifies the main research directions.In the design process of database, it describes the design principles. Nest, it makes the overall design and the detailed design of database system.Firstly, in the overall design ,it designs of external construction system of database system. Recently,there are three commonly used types of external construction system of database system, single user database, distributed database , centralized database. It mainly compares distributed database with centralized database,then combining the of the project analysis,it selects the most appropriate database structure for PTMIS.Secondly,it studies and designs the MIS framework for the construction of system database. It does a detailed analysis and compare C/S with B/S framework,then discusseds the feasibility for combining, and practices in the project at last. Thirdly, it compares several common design platform of database and selects the most appropriate platform : SQL-Server2000. In this section, it amplifyies installation and deploying of the software .At last,it designs the function structure of this database,and does the module partition of the function module.And then, it does a detailed analysis and design with SQL-Server2000.Firstly.it designs the model for database. Secondly it studies the data process in the database, then do the data standardization for relational model. It amplifyies the design of database-tables. including field names design, field type design and the field explain. Next, it does a design for associating data ,and a setting of primary key and foreign key. At last, it illustrates structured query language in the database for PTMIS. Such as, creating database, creating , modifying database-table and inputing data.This thesis comes from practice, and the research results will guide the practice, It has practical significance. |
