The Research Of VBA The Packaging CAD

This paper mainly studies the secondary development of packaging CAD system in the AutoCAD.At present, the corrugated boxes is gradually replacing the wooden containers and other transport packaging containers for its superior performance and processing. However, most of the corrugated boxes' design are manually designed and calculated according to the needs of each user. And because of the large number of design data access and complex calculation of the size and strength, many cardboard carton businesses and users just make some improvement on the basis of similar products. Lastly, hand-drawn the map box by the AutoCAD software, such production process is very simple. But such process will result in heavy workload, Low efficiency and great labour intensity of corrugated box designing, affecting the product design and development cycle. And commercial paper packaging CAD software is expensive, and its applicability and versatility is not strong enough, so it generally has less application in small and medium-sized enterprises.Taking the CAD system development of corrugated box as an example, this paper makes the general design for the corrugated box packaging CAD system, and develops the packaging CAD system in the AutoCAD platform, according to the present design status and software engineering ideas of corrugated box. This system can help users achieve the integration of carton product design, computing, and graphics.This paper studies the secondary development technology of AutoCAD software, focusing on analysis of the main development tools—VBA, ActiveX, and database technology based on the Microsoft Access2000. It discusses the parameter design principle of paper packaging and its realization, and studies the main design calculations of carton, as the algorithm basis for the software development.
