The Archives Management System Based On B/S Model For Teachers

With the continuous development of scientific research and production technology, traditional manual management is gradually replaced by advanced computer information management. The amount of data to be processed is increasing and updating sharply, which makes the original model of data organization and management incompatible with the requirement of modern query and statistics of data. The development of computer technology brings forward computerized management of data collection, analyzing, and processing which is gradually extended to all walks of life.The advance in computer technology promotes the rapid development of modern technology. With the continuous development of scientific research and production technology, the accuracy and timeliness of data are strictly required, the amount of data to be processed and renewed is increasing. The original manual management mode becomes unpractical. Computerized data management mode emerges as a result. In such context, management information system begins to appear, and is quickly and widely applied in the reality.MIS (Management Information System) is a modernized system which is based on computer, controlled by man, implementing collection, transfer, processing, saving, renewal, and maintenance of data through computer hardware, software, network communication equipment and other office facilities, etc to promote efficiency and benefit. The system tries to obtain the most satisfactory comprehensive benefits with the least resource investment through the optimized combination of flow of people, cargo, capital, and information. It is the combo of computer technology and business management. And it is related to economics, management science, statistics, operational research, computer science, etc. Its theoretical support and operational mode keep developing.Information management of teachers is a very important link in the administration of a school. It is the base and core of the administration of the whole school. However, at present, the archive management of most of the schools in China remains paperlized management, which wastes lots of human resource and material resources, and cannot catch up with the development of times. In the information age, the traditional way of management is certainly to be replaced by computer-based way of information management. In order to meet the requirement of the modern society, the appearance of archive management software provides great convenience for teaching administration. The new system can realize standardized information management, scientific statistics, and fast query, so as to reduce the workload of management. It is no doubt that the introduction of computer-based management to the administration of schools is meaningful for the promotion of the administration of school institution as well as the educational capacity of schools.The archive management information system for teachers combines modern administration ideas, computer high-speed data processing technology, and large-amount data saving technology, broad-band transference network technology, and automatic apparatus analyzing technology to manage teachers'information. Through the system, automatic operation, informationized management, and paperless administration can be realized, which is beneficial for the improvement of efficiency and the reduction of operation cost. At the same time, through repeating experimental operation, information can be processed in accord with the relevant standards and criteria. This dissertation introduces the development course of the archive management system, discusses the shortages of current softwares on information management system, brings forward the concept of B/S in the construction of archive management information system, and explores the key technologies of B/S. On the basis of B/S theories, we put forward the design of the archive management information system for teachers.B/S structure is a network structure emerged after the rising of webs. It unifies the client server, concentrates the core part of the system on the server, and simplifies the development, maintenance and employment of the system. B / S structure uses star topology or Internet Virtual Private Network (VPN) to establish communication networks within the enterprise. B / S mode has many advantages. It doesnot need specific software operating environment; it is simple for maintenance and upgrading; it will not increase the workload of maintenance and upgrading no matter what size and how many branches are the users; all operations are only for the servers; its cost is low and the room for making selection is big.For the above reasons, this dissertation, making full use of the existing social environment of computer popularization and the actual situation of the archive management for teachers, designs "archive management system based on B/S for teachers". Management Information System (MIS) is an integrated system of management and control which combines the decentralized process control system and information management technology. This design is a management information system for school teachers, focusing on the management of the basic information of teachers, the querying, adding, deleting, modifying, printing of data, and the mimeograph of various reports. At the same time, the design of the whole system is based on Jsp technology. The design of the system goes through demand analysis, system design, system test three stages, which makes the system own the basic performances of intervening, querying, mimeographing, and maintaining. In the development process of the system, I fully realize that the adaptation of Jsp technology in developing large-scale software can make the complex programm development process shorter and easier.As an excellent object-oriented database application development tool, Jsp can be used not only to design traditional high-performance, Client / Server structure application systems, but also to develop application systems based on internet. Jsp support application systems to access multiple databases at the same time. This dissertation is divided into six chapters. The first chapter introduces the purpose and significance of the research, domestic and international research status, as well as the topics to be addressed. The second chapter describes the process, strategy, and method of the development of the software. The third chapter focuses on the demand analysis of the system, the tools used in this research, and the knowledge related to system data demand. Chapter four outlines the overall design, system functionality, performance requirement, operational requirement, functional block diagram, etc. Chapter five introduces system process flow chart, detailed functional description of each module, interface screenshots and descriptions, etc. Chapter six summarizes the design of the system.The archive management information system for teachers is made up by the following five modules: system module for logging in and operation; maintenance module for the renewal and deletion of databases; query module for conditional obscure querying; report module for the querying and mimeographing of reports; help module for the users to understand and use the system better.The system has the following basic characteristics: technically advanced, highly effective, practical, and safe; sound data managing; user-friendly, easy to be operated, unitive in web database technology and browser interface; highly automotive, simple network structure design; modularized design, easy to expand the functions; low in investment, maximize the benefit of customer investment; flexible product design, short customer-oriented cycle.As the system still has many shortages, it needs to be modified in the practice. We should improve its functions, simplify its operation, and optimize its employment according to the actual demand in the practice. To the problems appeared in the application of it, we should make adjustment in time, and improve it gradually. Anyway, in the future work and study, we should continue to study it, give attention to the accumulation of experiences so as to improve the system, which will bring livingness for the administration of our school.
