Research On Unity Of Visual Communication And Information Transmission In Webpage Design

The development of Internet brings a new task for professionals in art:how to transport the understanding of beauty and experience of design into webpage design, making the information to express accessed by netizens timely and directly. This dissertation explores this issue from a different perspective. In this dissertation, it is stated that comparing with the traditional graphic design, webpage design has the characteristic of its own. In webpage design, refinement of technology and sublimity of art are complementary to each other and united together. Then this dissertation analyzes the webpage visual communication design and information design, and states that besides the traditional visual elements, webpage visual communication design pays more attention to the 3D, interactive and navigation elements. The effective information design will meet the gap between the information and webpage users. Next, from the perspectives of physiological mechanism of vision, cognitive psychology and interface design, the dissertation explores the unity of webpage visual communication and information delivery, and puts forward the principle of visual-and-information-unity oriented webpage design, which is further explained from the designs of text, color etc.
