With the continuous development of Ethernet technology, by using Ethernet technology to build Bus System has been turned into possible in a large communication network system. Full-Duplex Switched Ethernet, which can meet the requirements on the Bus System of the large communication, is a new kind Ethernet. As a key technology in the Full-Duplex Switched Ethernet, Time Synchronization technology will determine whether the communications data can be transported in real-time and effectively in the Full-Duplex Switched Ethernet.In the background of Full-Duplex Switched Ethernet, this paper analyzes and researches the principle and the achieving method of Time Synchronization technology carefully, and then puts forward a kind of new design scheme. Architecture and logic design of the Time Synchronization module are achieved based on the new design scheme. Servers Mode and Client Mode both can be achieved in the Time Synchronization module. Servers Mode is responsible for the function of sampling and sending the Time Synchronization frame, while Client Mode is responsible for the function of receiving and adjusting the Time Synchronization frame. Configuration and inquiry logic between the Time Synchronization module and Communication Network Subsystem are achieved. Configuration and inquiry logic between the Time Synchronization module and End System are also achieved. At last, functional simulation and verification of the Time Synchronization module have been carried out. The results show that the Time Synchronization module designed in this paper is fully meet the requirements of the design specifications.
