With the eye-catching development of Information Technology and the fast change of people's life style, the wireless communication has been pay more attentions and Wireless Mesh Networks (WMN) also has been concerned by an increasing number of IT experts. WMN is vulnerable to passive monitored attacks because of the specific character of wireless channel. The existing security routing protocols of WMN are all the improved ones based on the original Ad hoc network protocols, some are still contain certain security and anonymous problems, so it is necessary to design a new anonymous protocol which is faster, more costless, and more safe for the specific character of WMN. In this paper the Onion Ring protocol designed by Lee has been analyzed that it cannot defend against a so-called intersection attack, a new type of attack. Based on this protocol, an improved Layered Onion Ring protocol is proposed which can defend against this attack effectively. Therefore, the proposed protocol is more secure and effective than the existing one. |
