Our country is a productive highly fruit country, so planting fruit is an important component of Chinese agriculture and a vital way of improving farmers'income. As the standard of living becomes higher and higher, the demand for fruits is growing, especially the apple, which contains lots of nutrient elements necessary for human body and becomes an indispensable part of our life. So consumers have an increased demand for fruits appearance, inner quality and edible safety. In order to improve apples'quality, fruit growers have applied fruit-bagging technique widely. It can not only improve the outer quality,for instance,skin bright coloring and smoothness, but also make the inner quality better because of the increase in organic content and fruit flavor. Besides, bagging can prevent pesticide and harmful substances in the air from polluting fruits. Fruit-bagging technique has been one of the important means of producing green apples. But now the quality of fruit-cultivating bags used by fruit growers is relatively poorer than that of developed countries. Therefore, improving fruit-cultivating machines'performance to produce ecological fruit- cultivating bags with low cost and high quality is the key to solve this problem.The paper deals with improvement of fruit-cultivating bag machine, on the basis of the research results of ecological material compound fruit-cultivating bag machine achieved by the research group in Agriculture University of Hebei, combined with the actual national conditions and fruit growers'affordability. An online bag-shapes-monitoring system of fruit-cultivating bag machine with high precision, steady tension control, fast rectification and strong adaptability has been designed, which is suitable for high-speed production. This system aims to improve the quality of fruit-cultivating bags, automation and productivity of fruit-cultivating bag machine and adapting to the industrialization process of orchard forestry.The online bag-shapes-monitoring system comprises of tape tension monitoring and control and rectification monitoring and control. Mathematical control model of tape tension of fruit-cultivating bag machine has been completed. Tension monitoring and controlling system has been designed, consisted of tension sensor, magnetic powder brake and single-chip microcomputer, in which, tension sensor is a tension monitoring unit, magnetic powder brake is an executer unit, single-chip microcomputer is a control unit applying fuzzy adaptive PID control algorithm. Rectification monitoring control system adopts single-chip microcomputer as the core, CCD image sensor controller testing position quantities of paper tape's edge. Compared the real-time tested position quantities with set standard ones, the deviation can be obtained. The control value is calculated by Fuzzy-PID change-over switch control algorithm which is output to the transmission to make the winding roll run toward the opposite direction so as to rectify the deviation. Experiment program was completed on improved fruit bag machine, and the whole performance of machine was expected. Dimension error, glue size, and folded neatly of Fruit-cultivating bag were controlled on a smaller error. Quality Fruit-cultivating bag can be produced massly.
