Research And Implementation For The Automation System Open Source Lib Based GUI Testing

Now with the fast development of computer and network, the computer becomes an integral part of people's lives. The software development work becomes more and more important and the speed of software development also becomes faster and faster. At the same time, the requirements for the quality and functionality of the software become higher and higher. So people are concerned on these issue that how to guarantee the quality of the software. Software testing can be able to guarantee that the products can satisfy the requirements from customers.Now automation test can replace the tedious manual tests, and it can improve the accuracy of the test result and the enthusiasm of the tester. Then the tester can do other things including to develop other new test case.Graphic User Interface (GUI) is an important milestone in the process of the software development; it brings the convenience to the user. But at the same time, it is a new challenge for the software tester. GUI is an interactive interface between the user and the system, User can operate the GUI to call the system command, and the system gives the feed back to user. In the paper, the study is the research and implementation about the open source library based on the GUI automation testing. Because of the inconvenience for GUI automation work, so the library as the resolved method is brought up.I design directly with my colleagues this GUI library for automation test, which can manipulate the standard GUI controls and it has been used widely. It can be proved that it is practical and robust.
