The embedded system is the combination, which combines advanced computer technology, semiconductor technology and electronic technology with environment of practical application. Its development system usually needs to orient to the user, the product and the specific application. The peculiarity of embedded system, which is technology-intensive, innovative and knowledge-intensive, reflects the advanced level of contemporary with the latest technology. Embedded system puts cuttable technology of software and hardware to use and consolidate the software in the SoC chip. So Its development system has good reliability, small volume, low power consumption, strong function.This paper based on the actual project-Intelligent power management system design and implementation based on FC interface. Based on the project, this paper emphatically analyses the concrete process of embedded system developing, describes the core of SoC technology and fiber-channel technology that used in the system. This paper explains how to design the system general architecture, mark off the hardware structure system and software function modules. This paper expounds how to design the hardware system of power management system, analyzes the system hardware characteristics of SoC chip, implement FC communication interface, test debugging interface, design the development platform of the SoC chip. On these bases, this paper introduces how to transplant Vx Works of the embedded Real-time Operating System, discusses the transplantation procedures of Vx Works operating system, writes BSP board support package, realizes the various functions of the power management system. This paper discusses how to design the system software and validate SoC-FC chip, as early as possible to find the defects in design process, to ensure the safety and reliability of the power management system.
