Steganography is the art and science of writing hidden messages in such a way that no one, apart from the sender and intended recipient, suspects the existence of the message, a form of security through obscurity. Steganalysis is mainly directed against images, video, sound and other multimedia data. Simply by analyzing the multimedia data to detect if it contains hidden information without any knowledge about steganographic algorithm and hidden information.With the development of network, especially the widely used of video site (such as tudou, youtube), multimedia is everywhere in the network, it makes steganalysis became a hard and emergency job.Propose a base frame difference steganalysis method to detect the hidden information in multimedia data. Implementing video steganalysis based on MPEG format video files codec library ffmpeg. Results show this method is success under different multimedia data and different embedding rate. The following is about algorithm and experimental. In this paper, we propose a passive steganalysis: video steganalysis based on difference analysis. First, we use median filter to process the I-frame of the video file. Second, count the information change of I-frame before and after median filter, and judge if the video file contain hidden information base on the count result. we also compare the count result under different embedding strength and embedding rate. Difference analysis will have a good performance when embedding strengh is bigger than 6 or embedding rate is bigger than 8%.
