Agile Manufacturing(AM) has attracted the concern of the manufacturing sector due to stress the agility of enterprises responding quickly to market. It's main form to achieve is to establish a temporary cross-boundary, cross-enterprise Virtual Organization(VO). The existing PDM products are either C / S structure system which confined to a single enterprise, or the system based on the traditional B / S structure which is the request / response model. As a necessary technical support to achieve AM, PDM under the structs of these two can't meet the cross-regional and agility requirments at the same time in the agile manufacturing environment. It's more difficult to achieve product data collaborative management among the member enterprises. So carry out the research on ship agile manufacturing PDM based on .NET and Ajax have far-reaching significance.In this paper, the traditional PDM technology has been analyzed and studied. Then, the ship agile manufacturing PDM system architecture based on .NET and Ajax technology has been proposed for the shortcomings of the traditional PDM. And use technologys such as SVG and WWF to solve product data collaborative and sharing problem and workflow control problem. In the meantime, combined with the actual needs of shipyard to design the system function modules, and ultimately achieved the part of the functional blocks of the system. The main research work include the following components:1. Analyzed the current status of shipbuilding enterprises. In-depth analysis of the PDM technology research situation and development trend. Then, discussed the realization forms of agile manufacturing, and the prerequisite conditions, work processes and model structure for the implementation of agile manufacturing in the shipbuilding industry. Analysis of the supporting technology needed to achieve agile manufacturing and the effect PDM technology on AM.2. First, conducted a detailed study of the Ajax technology and its working principle. Then, analysis of the bottlenecks of the PDM based C/S architecture and traditional Web-based B/S structure under the agile manufacturing model. Proposed a architecture of ship AM PDM model based on .NET and AJAX technology, and has done a feasibility analysis and conducted a detailed study on the function modules of the model.3. Establish the corresponding data tables according to the needs of shipbuilding company, and then use the LINQ technology to create a LINQ to SQL object model to facilitate access to data. In-depth research on the relevant key technologies which are applied in the system model: using SVG technology to solve the sharing and browsing problem of shipyard's design drawings, using WWF technology to complete the workflow control.4. Under the guidance of the previous theretical results, use .NET and Ajax techniques developed for the ship's Agile PDM system model under the Visual Studio 2008 platform, and achieve some system functions, verified the studies mentioned above.
