Global market and globalization of manufacturing industry puts forward the new challenges to modern manufacturing. In the car industry, because of the special technology, complexity of business process, diversity of the sales channel and mass production produce information in every day manufacturing process, information management and information coordination tasks become very difficult. At the same time,after China's accession to the WTO, China's car market further open up, competition between automobile manufacture enterprises become more strong, and competitive environment become increasingly fierce, car manufacturing mode from mass production line gradually turn to the order production even mass customization.Manufacturing execution system is an indispensable part of a car manufacturing enterpris. With the development of technology and higher levels of management, higher requests of car manufacturing enterprise are put forward.The MES need to have better adaptability, agility, portability, expansibility, etc. Agent has good autonomy, encapsulation and initiative, which can satisfy these requirements well. Agent technology applied in agile manufacturing execution system has the practical applications meaning.This thesis first introduced background of the automobile manufacturing enterprise informationization, illustrates this research's purpose and meaning; Analyse the current research at home and abroad of manufacturing execution system, agile manufacturing execution system and intelligent agent applied in manufacturing execution system. Then briefly describes the basic principles of intelligent multi-agent technology.After that, analysis the business users of the system and analyse the demand of the system according to different users, and put forward needs of AMES based on agent. Established organization model, rights model and Agent model.Design the system function module, divided the system into eight Agent entity modules: scheduling agent, user agent, basic agent, plans agent, tracking code agent, statements agent, interface agent, scanning Agent;each agent is detailed designe. Use Web Service technology realizing communication between the agents. Use web service in outer packing every agent and provide a uniform interface outside,other agents call the corresponding function according to the interface specifications. Instead, the agent can also call common external features services, based on the interface specification provided by other agents.So that achieve the interaction of information between the multi-agent and facilitate the coordination between each other.With the expansion of production scale a Liuzhou's dedicated car factory's scale of production gradually turn to order production.On the purpose of cost savings, the factory has begun to implement agile manufacturing implementation strategies.It's manufacturing execution system which is currently used can not meet agile strategies' needs. Based on the above background, implement the system in this factory and evaluate the effects.
