H.264 Hybrid Input DVR Design

This disquisition is based on Hisilicon's Hi3520 platform, build an analog and digital hybrid input embedded Digit Video Recorder. It describes the hardware block, the function of main ICs, the hardware design, the software design.For the usage of mian IC, we choose the TI:DM6467, DM642, NXP:PNX1700, Faraday:GM8185, Hisilicon:Hi3520, Ambarella:A388C. Based on the IC function, the BOM cost, the easy for desgin. We choose the Hilicon at last. The other main ICs are Techwell's TW2864, Accard's ATP8624, Silicon Image's SiI9034.There are 4 ICs of Hi3520 to make 16 channel analog video signal encoding and 16 channel IP camera decoding and display. These Hi3520 ICs use PCI interface for communication, the raw data of video is transmited with Hi3520's cascade port.There are two ATP8624 ford 8 SATA HDD use, and 4 TW2864 for 16 channal video ADC, the HDMI PHY is used SiI9034.
