| With the continuous development of the Internet and the emergence of a variety of emerging business, the great demand for telecommunications network is increased and telecommunications network have become increasingly complex. The International Telecommunications Union ITU-T has constituted a set of telecom network management standards-TMN (Telecommunications Management Network), providing an organized architecture and standardized interface from the perspective of a global telecommunications network, so that different types of management system, the management systems and telecommunications equipment can be in a consistent manner between the exchange of management information, in accordance with standard methods for integrated telecommunications network as a whole to maintain and unify management.In this paper, the optical burst switching OBS network management has been analyzed around the TMN network management standards. In accordance with the management of TMN logical layered and simple network management protocol communications, the OBS network is divided into network management, network element management and network element layer. Network Element layer is the physical device node, which is edge nodes and core nodes in OBS network specifically; network element management is for a single network element device management; network management is responsible for managing the entire managed network to connect all the connected nodes. The entire management network is responsible for the OBS performance management, configuration management and fault management.According to SNMP protocol architecture, The OBS network element management is designed to multi-agent implementation, using the manager/master agent/sub-agent management model. The management is designed to human-computer interaction interface, communicating directly with the master-agent. A variety of management information will be sent to the lower network element through the master-agent. The Sub-agent will achieve directly into the physical device to receive network management information from the master-agent, in order to read or configure the value of the device parameters and collect the fault information occurred in the network elements sending to the upper layer for processing.In the five management functional areas, fault management is a core part of network management and also areas where users are most concerned about. The main purpose of fault management is to ensure that the network can provide continuous and reliable service. The paper focuses on the realization that the managed network took the initiative to send a failure notice to the management. The proxy agent embedded in network element devices detects the network element operating state timely and reporting to the network management when the network has an exception occurs. |
