The Development And Research Of Data Link Simulation System Based On Link 16

The research and construction of Data-Link System plays an important role in National Defense Construction. It will waste a lot of money and resources if testing the system through competitive training. That's not economical and unscientific neither at the research stage. Therefore, the key-point during the construction of Data-Link System is how to simulate the network reliably and authentic.In order to solve the problem of testing system through competitive training, this article proposes a solution of real-time simulation system. The system is connected with the Data-Link network through Ethernet, analyses the result of simulation, and optimizes the resources arrangement plan, as a result, the Data-Link system could be improved accordingly. The real-time simulating system includes two parts:hardware and software. The part of hardware is to simulate the transmission messages between participants in the network. The software, which is connected with Data-Link network, is to format the message according to the Link 16 communication protocol, and analyse the statistical result of simulation.In tradition, the system-level simulation is always based on Network Simulation Software, which uses modeling to simulate the network. Thus, when simulate the real-time network, the software will have limited capability. The key solution in the article is to solve the problem on this situation.
