Nowadays, deep space exploration is very popular in many countries of the world, which is serviced by system of deep space TT&C (Trace Telemetry & Command). The difference between System of deep space TT&C and former satellite communication is its low SNR and low bit rate. Deep space transponder and satellite receiver in deep space TT&C system shou be developed towards the direction of miniaturization and digital . Bit synchronization is One of the key technologies and difficulties for digital communications.So,This paper designs a all-digital bit synchronization system which is suitable for deep space satellite communications system. In the designed system, Sampling clock is fixed and independent of the symbol clock (sample rate must satisfy the Nyquist sampling rate laws), All the timing information is gotten by digital signal processor from the signal received.This article firstly introduces the development history and present status of bit synchronization system , analyses advantages and disadvantages of a variety of common bit synchronization algorithm , then choose Interpolation-based bit synchronization method as designed method . Secondly, A bpsk modulated and demodulated system is built and simulated with matlab simulink .Thirdly, use system generator and xilinx ISE to complete FPGA design of the algorithm. Finally , debug the whole bpsk modulated and demodulated system , verify the performance of the selected bit synchronization Through the actual hardware test.
