| In this paper, theoretical analysis and experimental study on coating defects were carried on in electrostatic oiler which manufactured by team of Wuhan University of Science and Technology, the study was based on image recognition technology. Though it is widely used in varies kinds of field, it is rarely used in study of coating.At first, the basic structure and working principle of electrostatic oiler was introduced, the types of defects and impact factors were also described and analyzed. There are two cases of coating defects and the major factors are identified by theoretical analysis: the structure of knife beam, the level of voltage, the tension and viscosity of liquid surface will also affect the spraying quality. Subsequently, image recognition technology which is the research methodology of this paper has been explained, and image recognition methods were refined classification, which can provide an effective theoretical support to the experimental research part in this paper.Then, the experimental study of coating quality on steel surface was carried on by means of high performance digital camera, the experimental platform are electrostatic oiler which manufactured by team of Wuhan University of Science and Technology. In experiment, camera shot on steel surface of several spraying situations at different voltages.At last, representative photos were selected to carry on the analysis of spraying experimental results, area of spectrum methods of image recognition was used to executing image processing and analysis in MATLAB software, and then charts and data results were compared, spraying quality also was recognized.The conclusion of this paper basicly reflects the spraying quality of experimental samples is good or bad, and the method of experiment in this paper is feasible. |
