Study On The Current Situation Of The Development Of Shandong Fruit Industry And Countermeasure Of Sustainable Development

Since reformation and opening , the fruit industry of our province has grown vigorously, especially since 1990's, the area of fruit and output of fruit increase rapidly. By 2003, the area of the fruit tree of the whole province has already reached 800,000 hectares, and the fruit output reached about 10 million , occupying first place in the whole country. The fruit output value account for 7% of gross output value in the whole province planting industry. But there still exist some questiones such as the structure of seeds is inconsequence, the standardized level of production is low, post-harvest lag behind, the supervisory system is imperfect, the technological service lags behind. After our country joins WTO, facing the domestic and international fruit markets, there is not only the challenge but also the opportunities, only forming optimizing the structure of seeds rationally, improving fruit quality, implement produce standardization, developing post-harvest industry, perfection agricultural science technology popularization system, exploring world market constantly, we could promote the sustainable development of the fruit industry of our province...
