Since 1990's, a kind of new economic system has appeared in the U.S.A., which combines communication technology, Internet, computer and software, as well as financial innovation. The new economy enables America more than ten years' super economic boom. After people tracked the background of venture capital from the making of the new economic star enterprises, economists all over the world began deep research on the venture capital system. Since there is difference between the situation in our country and that of those with advanced venture capital, it becomes a focus in the theoretical circle and practical exploration to develop a suite of operational mechanism of venture capital which is suitable to the situation in our country. From the venture capital system, this article focuses on the study the quantification problem of venture capital projects, providing quantifiable evidence for the multi-selection of the venture capital system. First of all, it analyses the current situation of the venture capital development in our country and the characteristics of its risks, elaborating the deep reasons of existing project risks by means of information asymmetry theory. Second, this article compares and sums up the models and methods in documents. Third, it constructs a whole system of risk influence indicators, and proposes how to use the subjective and objective method of weighting to confirm the index value and vector of the factors influencing the risks of venture capital projects, and use AHP to confirm the size of the index value of the project risks of venture capital. Fourth, it uses the principle of matching risks with profits to make a comprehensive estimation and sorting to all the selected venture capital projects. Finally, this article tests the reliability of quantifying risk models with empirical study.
