On The Establishment And Perfection Of The System Of Rural Social Security

The establishment and perfection of the system of social security is an important part of the economic reform and a key factor to the development and stability of China. Though the rural social security is an important part of the social security, it has being on the edge of the whole social security. With the deepening of the rural reform and the developing of economy, especially the minimizing of rural family structure and the aging of population, it is urgent to establish and perfect the system of rural social security.To begin with the definition of rural social security, this paper investigates the China's system of rural social security based on the innovation and the development of the theory of social security. Firstly, the author analyzes the necessity and the feasibility to establish the system of rural social security. Secondly, the author selects Jiangsu Province as a case to do some positive analysis mainly aiming at the endowment insurance, the new cooperative medical service and the minimum life guarantee system in the rural social security. Finally, the author analyzes the status quo and gives some suggestion to the establishment and perfection of the new system of rural social security so as to be adapted to the development of productivity and the structure of economy. I wish the paper could give some enlightenment to the construction of the China's system of rural social security.
