Since 1980' s, the environment that the companies have to face with is being more and more complicated. From the outside environment of the companies, the threat of competition is from all over the world and it is hard for one single company to hold its competitive advantages and depend on its own resource and abilities to succeed. What' s more, the market changes more and more rapidly, which makes marketing opportunities fleeting. It needs great effort for a single company to convert a marketing opportunity to profit ability. From the inside of companies, for the constraint ability of design, research and production, a single company rarely satisfies diverse individual demands from customers.The pressure from the outside and the restriction from inside hold back the existence and development of companies. More modern and more agile production methods and management mode have to be explored. Virtual enterprises come into being and fast develop under the ground economic globalization, marketing dynamic change and demand individualization. Virtual enterprise as a fresh new organization and new management-operating mode can reflect to the marketing opportunities and is competitive, which is applied by more and more enterprises. Virtual operation can reduce cost, improve reflection speed and efficiency, and enhance the quality of products and service. It is of great importance for risk separation. However, that does not mean there is no risk in virtual enterprises. As every coin has two sides, virtual enterprises have its unusual advantages and risks different from common companies as well.For the information the member of virtual enterprises is not complete and the world is complicated and changeable, it is hard to grasp all the relative information, which leads to the incomplete of the contract. The incomplete of contract lead to members hurt other members' profit, which eventually ruin the corporation. Even if the information is complete, various persons will give different analysis and make diverse decision. The first thing for virtual companies to do is to be aware of the existence of risk and then identify the characteristics and the regimentations of different risks. On the basis that analysis of riskfactors is given, further differentiation will be reached. In this essay, risks in virtual enterprises can be sorted into three classes: outside environment risks, operating risks and members' risks. Outside environment risks include economic risks and non-economic risks. Operating risks comprise technology risks, marketing risks, investment risks, relationship risks, management and harmony risks, legal risks and so on. Risks in members consists of investment risks, capability risks, strategy risks and withdraw of non-core companies. Risk evaluation is of great importance. Virtual enterprise is a complex system consisting of many functional parts. Inking mathematics integrate judgment theory can give a complete and systemic way to analysis risks.The control of risk is an important part and the core of risk management. This essay puts up with the methods of differentiation pre~control and phrase control to get the prospective profit with minimum costs. In the end, maneuvers to control risks are given.
