The reform and opening drive national economy greatly,with the life level improving greatly,people have the consciousness of protecting ecologic environment and health care of self from resolving dress warmly and ear their fill to paying attention to food quality;Swine industry is the backbone of animal industry,has an important place in national economy.Swine industry, food-processing industry, feed-process ing industry.ecological agriculture are more and more concerned extensively;making a general survey of Chongqing animal industry,especially the history and future of Chongqing swine industry,we find the industrialized development of swine industry is restricted by many factors. this report makes a scientific proof in developing swine industry for Chongqing government or municipality. In this report , the author investigate detailedly the character, population, geographic environment, dimensionality area, rural economic frame of Chongqingand characteristic of rural feeding swine and so on by integrative survey and demonstration. And it is reported that swine industry is the basic industry in national economy and it expatiates the relation between swine industry and planting, perking up rural economics, ecological agriculture etc. . In this paper the author points out a guiding thought — to develop swine industry duratively, steadily and high efficiently we must study and adopt advantageous technology and experience, be directed by market, look technology as motivity, improve quality and economic benefits. According to geographic environment he divides the swine industry into four big parts, enlarges connotation swine produce, increases economic benefits ,enhances the repertory of breeding technology, finds new pig strains, planting, feed-processing industry ,epidemic prevention , meat-processing industry in order to come true the strategic objection which is in 2010 the live pig amount of live-stock on hand sum up 14million, amount of live-stock out hand amount to 19.5 million , ration of high quality meat swines is 75%. pork is 70% in total meat output ,and exportion of pork brings 2 billion dollars foreign exchange.
