On The Method Choice Of The Development Of Financial Service Trade For China

With the accession into WTO of China and the development of International Financial Service Trade, Financial Service Market of China is accelerating the opening-up, and Financial Service Trade is playing a more important role. This paper studies the international environments for the development of Financial Service Trade of China, and discusses upon the method choice for the development of Financial Service in China, based on the realities of Financial Service Industry in China.Firstly, this paper summarizes the basic frame of WTO rules on international Financial Service Trade, and studies the implementation of China' s undertaking in Financial Service Trade for accession into WTO. It concludes that the acquirement of benefits in Financial Service Trade is based on the competitiveness of national Financial Service Industry. So the Financial Service Market should be opened up cautiously.Secondly, this paper evaluates the competitiveness of Financial Service Industry in China. Based on the analysis of the features of bank service industry and insurance service industry, it draws a conclusion that the fragility of Financial Service System in China decides the necessity of proper protection and gradually development method of Financial Service Trade.Thirdly, this paper theorizes the method of the development of Financial Service Trade in China. The development of Financial Service Trade has great concerns about the security of finance market, adjustment of economic structure and opening-up of financial service market. So it is necessary to accelerate the development of financial service trade on the basis of stability of national economy, industry competitiveness, proper opening-up and keeping away the financial risk.
