It is graduallycatch up with and will finally exceed the international goods trade, and will becomethe new engine of the world economy development. As an important part of servicetrade, the importance of financial service trade in the development of nationaleconomy is more and more obvious. Its development has a very important influenceon a country’s national comparativeness. In recent, although the scale and the volumeof China’s financial service in trade is expanding, but the proportion of China’sfinancial service trade in the service trade has a big gap with the world average level,because it started late, its foundation is week and under a long-term planningeconomic system. As a result, the comparativeness of financial service in trade isweek in a long term. Therefore, in this kind of situation, making a study and puttingforward some advice on the financial service trade have very important significanceto promote the comparativeness level of China’s financial service in trade.First, this paper analyzes the domestic and overseas literature about thecompetitiveness of financial service in trade, reviews the related theories and definesthe relative concepts. Second, the paper from the cross-border delivery andcommercial existence this two aspects analyzes the present development situation ofChina’s financial service in trade, and compares the financial service tradecompetitiveness level in different countries. Third, the paper analyses the factorswhich affect the competitiveness of China’s financial service in trade, then does anempirical analysis. Finally, on the basis of above study, the paper gives some adviceswhich can improve the competitiveness of China’s financial service trade.
