China has being during the Economic Transformation Period since the year of Opening Policy-1978. The feature of this period is the little compatibility between the traditional planned economic system and the expeceted market economic system. During this period, the political and social environments faced by the firm are very uncertain, which brings the firm both challenges and opportunities. And in the face of so many opportunities , how the firm recognize these opportunities? And what kind of enterpreneurial activities will the firm take to exploit these opportunities after they recognize them? Is there any influence on the financial performance?Based on these questions and the study of literature, this paper introduced the theoretical study of enterpreneurial opportunities identification and enterpreneurship activities, adopted questionnaire to empirically analyzise the condition of Chinese firms. This paper analyzised the relationship between enterpreneurial opportunities identification and enterpreneurship activities under different environmental uncertainty during the Economic Transformation Period.Through the questionnaire and analysis of the data, the main conclusions of this paper are as follows: (1)when the firm feels the environments are more certain, they prefer the activity of business creation. However, in such environments, the firm does not like to take any activities when they recognize technological opportunities and perceive industry growth; (2) when the firm feels the environments are more uncertain, the firm prefer any activities. In such environments, the firm will like to take the activity of technological enterpreneurship when they recognize technological opportunities; the firm will like to take the activity of business creation and new product introduction when they perceive industry growth; the firm will like to take the activity of new product introduction when they recognize the opportunity brought by the need of new products; (3) taking enterpreneurship activities are favorable to financial performance.
