Economic Evaluation Of Zaoshi Hydraulic Project In Hunan Province

The project construction economic evaluation is an integral and important component of the project feasibility evaluation and is also the necessary means to guarantee that decision are scientifically made. The project economic evaluation includes the national economic evaluation and the financial affairs appraising. This thesis has taken the Zaoshi Hydraulic Project as the objective of the economic evaluation and discussed the various factors affecting each parameter used in the project economic evaluation. The thesis formulated the each evaluation index used in the economic evaluation and then the sensitive analysis of each evaluation index was carried out. Finally, the conclusion was made that the construction of the Zaoshi Hydraulic Project is feasible economically.The whole thesis is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is introduction in which the goal and function of the economic evaluation and the role of the economic evaluation played in the decision-making were explained. The importance of the hydraulic project economic evaluation was discussed and the main topics in the thesis were briefed.In the second chapter, the current development situations of the hydraulic project economic evaluation at home and abroad were reviewed.In the third chapter, the national economic evaluation was carried out onthe Zaoshi Hydraulic Project. The benefits and costs of the project and the national economic evaluation indices were analyzed and calculated. Considering the impacts of the uncertain factors, the sensitivity analysis was made on the national economic evaluation indices. Finally, the conclusions about the national economic evaluation were made.In the fourth chapter, the financial affairs appraising was carried out on the Zaoshi Hydraulic Project. The benefits and costs of the project and the financial affairs appraising indices were analyzed and calculated. Considering the impacts of the uncertain factors, the sensitivity analysis was made on the financial affairs appraising indices. Finally, the conclusions about the financial affairs appraising were made.In the final chapter, i.e. Chapter 5, the comprehensive assessment on the Zaoshi Hydraulic Project was carried out and the conclusions were presented, which can be very helpful in making the decisions about the Zaoshi Hydraulic Project.
