The city park is the ecological environment with various species and service facilities. It is large urban areas of green land with relaxation and sightseeing functions. The market-oriented management of the city park is to break through the government's monopolistic management and set up the pluralistic investment system by constructing the incentive mechanism of the market. This will motivate the city park to produce marketable products, to improve the city park's quality and efficiency, in order to bring about an advance in the harmony of three major benefits of the city park.The market-oriented management of the city park is feasible not only in theory but also in practice. The new public economics theory, the public choice theory and the public management theory provide the theory feasibility. The successful experience of the public product's market-oriented management in our country and the appearance of the large-scale operator are the realistic foundation of the city park's market-oriented management. Government is the macroscopic subject in the market-oriented management. Enterprises and the public are micro-subjects. The three interest groups have conflict as well as cooperation. They should stand on the right positions so that to promote the harmonious development of the city park in addition to guarding their own interests.The incentive and supervision regime of the market-oriented management of the city park is the key to the success of the city Park's market-oriented management. The government can encourage corporations through "gold edge area", "financial subsidy" or " property right change" incentive method to stimulate the enthusiasm of enterprises' taking part in the management of the city park. This will establish the city park's multi-investment complexion.The main modes of market-oriented management of the city park are: BOT, the government endows the franchise rights of the city park program to enterprises withincertain period the enterprise gets the right to build and operation. After the certain period, the city park shall be transferred to the government. Another mode is the joint development of park-real estate.The market-oriented management of the city park has its necessity, theory feasibility and realistic feasibility.
