The Introduction Of The US Government Procurement Regime, And The Inspiration To China

Since China entered WTO in 2003, China has made every effort to be consistent with international standards. Moreover, Chinese government promised to start its accession negotiation to the Government Procurement Agreement (GPA), which made the government procurement area become the academic argument battle within the nation. In 2003, China issued the Government Procurement Law of PRC, which indicated that government procurement of China has made for the path of legalization, standardization and internationalization. While surveying the government procurement situation abroad, US has superior government procurement regime, both in the establishment of the law and the administration structure, and management and function approach. Therefore, it is meaningful to learn from US government procurement regime. The aim of this article is to make research in the management and function modal of US government procurement, and compare it with Chinese so as to find out the methods to promote government procurement regime of China.
