Foreign direct investment(FDI) ,which has become the key of obtaining the international controlling power,is an important momentum of International economic system ,and also is the crux to control the world economics.China has become the leading one in the developing countries,of which a few have join the largest international corporations in the world.China's FDI capital is now concentrating on a few countries and sectors,so the research on the location choice and industry choice is greatly influential for our country's FDI and the strategy of "go out". This thesis firstly points out the necessity and the possibility of FDI.Then it analyses the scholars' theories from different directions:the advantage,the technology changes and different factors which influences the location choice.lt explains the factors theoretically and practically.On the basis of the above analysis,the thesis makes an analogy on the reasons and conditions of China's &world's FDI place choice and then it makes an comparison of China's FDI choice.After that,it quotes the parameters which influences the location choice,and then it chooses some indicators and makes an quantitative and qualitative analysis on the basis of the countries' division.Finally it draws a conclusion of location choice.Ater that ,finally it points out some suggestions of location choices after the empirical analysisron the location, China should firstly consider the location advantage including market potentiality, infrastructure, economic stability, technology development power and economic potentiality,etc.Also its own advantage and motives should be considered,for example,the market-orientation company should take full consideration on the market and choose the countries with market potential;the resource-orientation company should choose the South-east Asia,Latin-America,and Africa,etc with abundant resources.The efficiency-leading company should choose the developed countries whose economic and technology is greatly advanced.It also analyses the industry choice basing on the location choice.
