Traditional Industry Ecologically Rebuilding In Newly Industrialized Area

Traditional industrialization process ever promoted the rapid increase of China's economy and people's living standard, which makes China focus of the whole world. While, this kind of quantitative increase simultaneity resulted in scarcity of national resources and catastrophic deterioration of environment. Economy, resources and environment have been in situation of intense conflict. Development is always the first undertaking;inevitably the strategic choice will go to sustainable development.This dissertation selects Ninghai County, Zhejiang Province as the representative of newly industrialized area. Taking the local development phase, resources and environment into consideration, this research will focus on Why and How to ecologically rebuild local traditional industry.Just like the outside situation, Ninghai County is also faced with double presses from economic development and environmental protection. Ninghai has been ranked in Top 100 of National Competitive Counties and Top 100 of National Powerful Counties, but been listed last in 6 counties in Ningbo City. With the industrialization process, the advantages of ecology, resources and environment are weakening, especially after the operation of a lage-scale power plant.In order to provide both of theoretic and pactical foundation for ecologically rebuilding traditional industry in Ninghai, this dissertation digests the theories of sustainable development, Ecological Industry, Cleaner Production, Circular Economy, and collects many pactices for reference. Through identifying the development phase and deeply analysing, the problems exist in industrial structure, industry layout, resources consuming and environmental pollution have been discovered. Ecologicall rebuilding is most needed in Ninghail. Taking 3 enterprises and 2 industrial parks for examples, this dissertation will put forward a series of measures for building cleaner production enterprises and eco-industrial parks. It will be realistic significant to drive and direct other newly industrialized areas to practise ecological reform for sustainable development.
