Research On No-performing Assets Of Bank Of China Xinjiang Branch

Today's topic is the campaign by commercial banks to reduce non-performingassets. Non-performing assets (NPAs) not only is the biggest problem in our banks butalso the obstruction of banking innovation and development. Such NPA results in thelow liquidity of banking assets, low capability of assets-payment. Therefore, themonstrous Non-performing assets not only seriously restrain state-owned banks (SOB)in their commercial reform, but also block the progress of SOB toward modernization.Now, our state-owned commercialize banks are facing a sticking point, we mustfind an effectual ways and means to control and decrease the Non-performing assetsimmediately.The purpose of this thesis is base on our country's condition and using theforeign country's successful experience making a research on effective solution to theproblem of non-performing assets of Bank of China (BOC.) Xinjiang Branch.Thisthesis consists of four chapters.Chapter one is the brief introduction the non-performing assets.Chapter two introduces the reason why the non-performing assets of BOC.Xinjiang Branch comes into being.Chapter three introduces the basic strategy and method of how to disposal thenon-performing assets.Chapter four is the most important section of this thesis. This chapter makes afurther research on non-performing assets disposal.
