Research On Prevention And Management Of Credit Risks In Foreign Trade In Our Country

With further developing of reform and opening and success in entering intoWTO, international trade has developed rapidly. But because of self-protection anddistemperedness in supervision mechanism of state- owned assets macroscopicallyand being short of foreign trade credit risks prevention instruments microscopically,credit risks management of international trade company in our country is poor, whichlead to increasing of payment being in arrears. How to prevent and manage creditrisks have been one pressing and tough task to be resolved in international trade.After reading literatures and analysis of present situation, this paper point outthat export credit risks are the biggest one in all risks and make deep analysis of itsexisting root from three angles--international surroundings, domestic factors andenterprises. On the basis of former analysis, this paper point out resolve ways fromtwo aspects--credit risks preventions using and credit risks management measures.Credit risks preventions include export credit insurance, international factoring,forfeiting and RMP, all of which in China fall behind and should be improved afterbenefit from experience of developed countries. As foreign trade companies in ourcountry are poor in credit risks management, this paper show measures to build onewell credit management system within the companies at last. I hope this paper can beone useful reference for foreign trade company in avoiding credit risks.
