Study On The Value Of Reservoir Resettlers' Household Assets

This thesis conducts a study on household economy of reservoir resettlers from the view of household assets. Firstly, according to the forms and nature of household assets, it clarifies household assets into seven kinds of tangible and two kinds of intangible household assets, which provides the basic framework for analysis of household assets of reservoir resettlers. Then, through a careful study on the ways that the reservoir resettlers' household assets change during the relocation, this thesis works out the model for calculation of the changes in the value of household assets, and furthermore, the factors affecting the appraisal of value changes of household assets. On the above-mentioned basis, this thesis suggests the value of household assets should be the standard of appraisal of rehabilitation of household economy after the relocation caused by construction of reservoir, and it also explores the appraisal procedures and approaches. And finally, it selects a typical resettler's family caused by the "Shanxi Water Conservancy Project in Wenzhou" as its case of study, and with the application of the constitution framework of household assets, the appraisal method and the factors affecting the value of household assets, this thesis, considering the specific situations of the household assets of this resettler's family, carries out an appraisal of the changes in the value of the household assess to know better the rehabilitation of the household economy. This thesis draws from the case the conclusion that the value of the household assets in case has increased after the rehabilitation, therefore, it demonstrates clearly that, in the view of the value of the household assets of the resettlers, the living standards of the typical resettler's family has been improved a lot.
