Along with the rapidly developing of national economy, electric power industry develop speed also be accelerated as base of economy. The China Development Bank Gansu Branch as the largest policy bank in the province, it's loan balance in electric power industry keep the first position among the large scale banks in the province all the time and it will grant more great capital to this industry of Gansu province in the period of No. 11 five years national development plan. Therefore it could have important meaning in controlling risk and healthy dealing that analyzing the project loan risk and making the risk avoiding method to the loan of electric power project.This thesis classified risk of power net project and electric source project which is the grant object of the China Development Bank Gansu Branch by means of the analysis on the project loan status and sorts. In common sense, the risk could be labeled as loan concentrate risk, policy risk leaded by power system reform, guarantee risk leaded by collateral method and dealing risk. In separated sense, the risk could be labeled as power net project loan risk and electric source project risk. The thesis focus on analysis of the forming reason and process of these risks and make the advance prevent risk methods on the base of analysis.Although theses risks are various and could not be removed, the thesis showed the viewpoint that the risk could be controlled by different effective avoiding and dissolving method for different risk. These methods could have use for reference to the developing and managing electric power project by the China Development Bank Gansu Branch.
