Selection Model Research Of Postponement Strategy In Supply Chain Based On Mass Customization

Mass Customization is the frontier issue of the enterprise competition in the new century, it differs from the Mass Production, and therefore asks for the matched supply chain management model which differs from that for the Mass Production. It is obvious that both Postponement Strategy and Speculation Strategy have their advantages and disadvantages. So, how to build an effective and simple judgment model for the selection of management strategy become an important issue. The explorative study of this paper can promote the development of supply chain management theory, and it offers foundation to people for judgment. The dissertation focuses on study of establishment of valuation index system and method of valuation, launching on analysis on effect factors of supply chain strategy selection and building an effective decision-making model aiming at helping people choose an appropriate supply chain strategy.In the first place, this paper analyses the development of automobile industry and bring forward the possibility and feasibility of postponement strategy in supply chain management.In the second place, this paper discusses the basis idea and application methods of the postponement strategy and focuses on the difference between postponement and speculation strategy in core point of view and the fountain of power.In the third place, based on the correlative literature, this paper analyses the effect factors of strategy selection in supply chain, and provides a simple and convenient quantitative decision-making model leaning upon the establishment of index valuation system.Last but not least, choose a case to prove the applicability of the model. Based on the analysis result to effect factors, the dissertation advances several policy suggestions aim at the problems existing in the selection of supply chain management strategy.
