Marketing theory has been introduced in engineer design consultation recently in China. Customer management is a new conception developed in close years and grows at a fast speed, but research fruits about customer management are unusual applied in engineer design consultant enterprise. Many enterprise of engineering design consultation have knew little about the market and market strategy of engineering design consultation, less than customer management as well as the content and technology of customer management concerning engineer design consultation. Accordingly, the research about marketing strategy and customer management of engineering design consultation is still at a starting point and many problems in this field need to be resolved.This paper is based on the general theories of marketing and customer management theories, with the consideration of the characteristic of engineering design consultation, the paper studied the several aspects below. At the very beginning, the paper states the customer information management strategy of engineering design consultation enterprise. Secondly, customer credit management of engineering design consultation enterprise including customer credit investigation, analysis, evaluation and credit amount assurance are analyzed deeply. Thirdly, with the analysis of management on customer satisfaction and loyalty, management on customer service, customer sue and customer drain are expounded, this paper put forward partner relationship should be established. Furthermore, this paper expatiate on the key customer management strategy of engineering design consultation enterprise, in terms of the characteristic of engineering design enterprise, offer a method to put key customer management into practice. Eventually, the CRM system ,customer caring management and marketing one to one is introduced. The paper put forward that information made use of reasonably should be taken as the mean of engineering design consultation enterprise management.
