Research Into Multipart Authentication And Procedure Mail

This thesis provides an idea of procedure security mail model, and discusses its principle and the realization. Traditional mail model can't deal with procedure task, but procedure security mail model provides a communication mechanism for multi-partners instead of traditional two mail partners and solves the problem of signature of mailing procedure documents. Procedure mail can integrate into application systems to deal with complicated operation. The universal multipart authenticated model and the mechanism of procedure mail model studied carefully in this thesis. Multipart authenticated model solves the security problems of transmitting data and the procedure between the partners according to the procedure defination. This thesis discusses the procedure signature. Normal digital signature contains simple digital signature, double signature, and blind signature. Based on normal digital signature, procedure mail has special digital signature including transferring signature, branch signature and join signature. Detailed description is given of how to hide information in transferring signature while the correctness of procedure and message can be authenticated. This thesis discusses the design and implementation of procedure mail, including the control of procedure, the definition of procedure, the data structure and protocol of procedure mail. Several new types are given to extend the types of MIME, these types can be resolved by specialized programs developed in this paper. Definition of procedure includes the ways of controlling procedure and the properties of procedure nodes. The original messages are divided into several parts and put into digital envelops, special person can only view these encrypted parts consequently. When receiving a procedure mail, the security of procedure is checked at first, meanwhile, the correctness of digital signature is verified too, then users transfer forward mail defined by the procedure. There are two ways to implement procedure mail, C/S and B/S, but communication mechanism is different, this thesis presents one application of C/S model after the detailed description of overall function infrastructure and specialization of C/S and B/S model.
