The Research On Influence Of Social Security To The Identity Authentication Of Migrant Workers

"Migrant workers" is a special group in the special period of our country. After the reform and opening up, it has greatly promoted the development of urban market economy. At present, there are about 2.5 hundred million migrant workers. Although these migrant workers are making a great contribution to the process of promoting urbanization, the city’s "door" is not completely open to them. Their material life and spiritual life in the city are not satisfactory. Some "tangible" and "invisible" factors obscure the identity of migrant workers, such as: social security system, the household registration system, education system, etc. That the migrant workers have the awareness of urban workers is an important step to realize the urbanization of migrant workers.With the reform of the household registration system, the country has begun to take measures to achieve some special migrant workers urbanization. At the same time, the government also pushes forward the basic public services in urban for the permanent population. Therefore, the impact of the household registration system is gradually weakening. At the same time, the influence of social security factor on the urbanization of migrant workers is becoming more and more prominent. Domestic scholars believe that the social security factor is the most important factor to hinder the urbanization of migrant workers."Migrant workers shortage" has become a political, social and economic problem.Taken in this sense, this study has very important practical significance. Some domestic and foreign scholars have discussed the problem of the farmers’ urbanization or migrant workers’ urbanization from their own research field, but their research results are mainly based on the qualitative approach. In this study, the author uses a kind of quantitative approach, sets "urban workers identity cognition", "farmer identity cognition" as dependent variables, sets social security factor as independent variable. In the questionnaire, the author uses the ordinal ploytomous logistic regression method to analyze the 5 levels of the variables. Through the empirical study, the author found that the appropriate variables were endowment insurance, medical insurance, living conditions, education, annual income. According to the research results of the logistic regression model, the author puts forward some measures to improve the cognition of urban workers.The last part is the conclusion and a brief review and summary of this article.
